Welcome! We are thrilled that you’re joining us in our efforts to maintain and enhance the arts in the Heartbeat Creative District with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment. Also known as the Hastings Art & Beat District, the district encompasses the historic downtown area and is bounded by Burlington Avenue, Eastside Boulevard, 7th Street, and the railroad. As of November 2024, the Heartbeat District is a Certified Creative District and joins a statewide network of creative districts led by the Nebraska Arts Council.

This certification has enabled us to receive a $10,000 grant which will be used towards marketing efforts, translation of the strategic plan, and administrative efforts for the development of creative projects.
