The Hastings Community Redevelopment Authority has made an application on behalf of Mother Lake, LLC, for a specific redevelopment plan modification in the Redevelopment Area #7. The specific plan is for the demolition of the existing structure and replat of the property into three separate lots. On Lot 1, a new 11,000 sq ft medical office building will be constructed. The other two lots will be available for future medical office space development. The applicant has also applied for a Conditional Use Permit for the medical clinic uses proposed for the property. The development is to occur on a 1.55-acre tract of land at the intersection of West 22nd Street and North Kansas Avenue.
The Hastings Planning Commission is scheduled to hear these requests during a public hearing on September 16, 2025, at 4:00 pm at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 West 12th Street, Hastings, Nebraska.
The Hastings City Council is scheduled to hear this item during the public hearing at their October 13, 2025 meeting, which starts at 6:00 pm. This meeting will be at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 West 12th Street, Hastings, Nebraska.
All interested parties are invited to provide comments, as described below.

Public Notice

Public Notice will be provided through the Hastings Tribune and a required yard sign at the property. Adjacent neighbors within 300 feet of the boundary of the property will also be sent a public notice letter from the city.
