The applicant, Ben Kunz, Hoppe Development, on behalf of the owner, Hastings Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA), has applied to rezone the property at 502 East D Street from I-1, Light Industrial District, to R-3, Multiple-Family Residential District. The total area requested to be rezoned is 3.67 acres.
The public hearing will be held by the Hastings Planning Commission on April 16, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 West 12th Street, Hastings, Nebraska. Following the public hearing and deliberation, the Planning Commission will vote to recommend approval to the City Council.
If approved, The City Council will then schedule to hold a public hearing on the item for May 13, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 West 12th Street, Hastings, Nebraska. All interested parties are invited to provide comments, as described below.
