Case NO. 2024-200: 500 E. 9th Street Variance
The Board of Adjustment approved the Variance at their October 24, 2025, public hearing.
A public hearing has been scheduled for a Variance filed with the Board of Adjustment for the City of Hastings, Nebraska. The Variance is for a garage to be constructed on the site that would reduce the rear yard setbacks on the south side of the property from 10.2 feet to 4 feet. Additionally, the setbacks on the east side of the property would be reduced from 10 feet to 4 feet. The Variance is for the following real property commonly known as 500 E. 9th Street which is zoned R-3, Multiple Family Residential District.
The public hearing is scheduled with the Board of Adjustment on October 24, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 West 12th Street, Hastings, Nebraska, at which time all persons interested may be heard.
The application and materials related to the public hearing can be viewed at the Development Services Office, 3505 Yost Avenue from 7:00 a.m. – noon and 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Following the public hearing on October 24, 2024, the Board of Adjustment voted, 4-0, to approve the variance request.
